So of course you know how incredibly amazing I am. Right? Well, anyway we went to Green Acres for Activity day. Did I tell you? I don't think I did. But I'm not sure. So, anyway we went there and that is a place where you get on a huge plastic black tube and you throw your tube down (when you reach the beginning of the line), in front of this big pole. It's connected and it has this toe rope. So, you get your tube just under it, but not touching if it was touching, it would go up with out you (it happened to me quite a lot). You'd get up there and drop your tube down, get on it and then you'd go down the hill either screaming or with snow in your face. It's not really that scary but it's just soooo much fun. On the big hill, the hill is even bigger (obviously, that's why it's called the big hill, da da duh). It takes so much longer to get up there though. But sometimes that's where 1/2 the fun is. There's this part in the hill where the rope digs deep into the snow and there was this girl (me) who got her hand caught in between the rope and the snow. They had to stop the rotating rope and help her out. But eventually they had to start it up again to get her hand out of the rope. She had quite a few cuts and bruises all the way down her arm. There was this other time when me Nenagh (Nina) and Makayla (the good one's) were up on the Big hill and they were holding on to my tube, so I could take a running jump and land on it so, the we would go and we wouldn't tire ourselves out doing that either. But they let go right when I was about to jump and they told me I had to walk all the way back down. So I got about 1/4 of the way down and I tripped and slid down the rest of the way. Emily and Kayla kept yelling
"Fail! Shortie Fails"
"Haha"
Ya, and there was this other time when Makayla, Kayla, Gabby, Emma, Ms. Newman, and her student teacher, and about 50 other people, linked together, were going down the hill and this is what happened.
"Wait for Emily!" Makayla yelled. "She's just right there."
"Ok. But we'll give her to the count of 10 then were off." Ms. Newman said.
"10"
"9"
"8"
"7"
"6"
"5"
"4"
"Ok. I'm here."
"3" I threw my tube down next to some girl and ran and jumped. Apparently she wasn't holding on tight enough because we went down the hill before everyone else.
"2" Me and the other girl were about 1/2 way down by now.
"1"
"GO!" We had just stopped at about the bottom of the hill and they were heading straight or us there was no way I could have gotten out of the way. They were traveling so fast and I was smack dab in the middle of them. There was no way even Usain Bolt could have gotten out of the way. Then they were there. The other girl had got up and ran and I kind of just sat there waiting them to just crash into me. She hadn't gotten far at all before she went flying through the air. She had taken about 2 steps. Me on the other hand. I kind of flipped into the air and it made me look like I was some kind of rag-doll. My butt hit Ms. Newman in the face and My head hit someone's head about 3 times, I think. The 2 teachers ran over to the other girl, it was probably 'cause she flipped higher. Everyone else came over to me. That's just how popular I am. I was head first in this pile of snow and my head really hurt! Makayla helped me get up and walked me into the building. I sat down and the other girl was on the other side of the room baling. It was kind of funny. Everyone kept saying. "What happened to her?" Makayla old people what happened and they kept asking me if I was ok. Of course I said ya. I couldn't tube for the rest of the time though. My friends and I walked around a lot. There so nice.
Today, Kayla was being her "smart" little self and she she came over to me and said "You ok. That hit must of been really hard. I think it knocked some sense into you."
After that little mini crash on the tube I've had this huge head ache. It's more like World War 3. The worst of them all. I haven't been myself lately but I think I'll be ok.
